League Table Game — Rules

Welcome to the League Table Game, where football knowledge meets strategy. Predict the final league standings and see how you stack up against others.

How It Works

1. Choose Your League(s)
   You can make predictions for: Premier League (England) and/or Serie A (Italy)
2. Rank All Teams
   Before the season begins, drag and drop the teams into the order you believe they’ll finish — from 1st to last place.
3. Scoring System
   The objective is to get the lowest number of penalty points.
   • For each team, your score is the difference between your predicted rank and their actual finishing position.
   • Example: If you put Manchester City 3rd and they finish 1st, you get 2 points. Think of it as penalty points.
   • Correct guesses earn 0 points.
4. Leaderboard
   Your total penalty points across all teams determine your ranking. The lowest score wins.

January Transfer Window — Mid-Season Changes

• You can adjust up to 3 teams in your prediction.
• This gives you a tactical option to correct early-season misjudgments.
• You will still be able to view your original predictions for comparison.

Deadlines

• Initial predictions must be submitted before the season starts.
• Mid-season updates are only available during the January transfer window.
• No changes are allowed after deadlines unless through a power-up (once available).

Winning and Recognition

• The leaderboard shows your current rank against all other players.
